After a long term fascination with this noble breed, I bought my first Bloodhound in 2000, Marksbury Studious of Silverspring.    In 2006 Sagio Emilia at Silverspring was imported from Sweden and in 2007 whelped the first Silverspring litter.    This kennel, based in the South West of England, only keeps bitches, now numbering four pedigree bloodhounds.    The hounds are shown though not excessively, culminating in Emilia winning the Bitch CC and Best of Breed at Crufts 2008. All the hounds also enjoy trailing for pleasure and occasionally at working trials.   My main priority is to obtain and breed sound, healthy, well constructed hounds that move well, maintaining working, showing and companion potential.    David Gore
